Reife Kirschen plot

Helmut Kamp, a 25-year-old construction worker, has to take on a new assignment. A nuclear power station is being built on the Baltic Sea, where he is deployed as an experienced professional, together with the men of his team, to take care of the construction of the foundations. But he doubts whether he should accept the job. On the one hand, the gigantic size of the project attracts him, on the other hand he would live separately from his family for several years. And so also from his pregnant wife Elfriede, the mother of their two daughters. Fate strikes Helmut with a hard blow...
