Reasons of the Heart plot

A publishing house employee has to go to the remote mountain village of Pinecrest. Quite coincidentally, that is the village where she most likely comes from. She's not quite sure, because she was adopted at a very young age and never saw her parents. She goes in search of her family with a writer from the village. The woman and the writer spend a romantic time together and discover hidden and sometimes tragic secrets about the mountain village, its inhabitants and themselves.
