Rastres de Sàndal plot

"Two sisters, two cultures"

Successful Mumbai actress Mina can't forget her little sister Sita. At a young age they were separated from each other after the death of their mother. Three decades later, Mina discovers that Sita is doing well in Barcelona. But Sita's adoptive parents have obliterated all traces of her past, and Sita, who now goes by the name Paula, has no memory of her Indian background or of Mina. Now a down-to-earth biology researcher in Barcelona, Paula embarks on a lengthy search when confronted with the truth about her past. In her journey to discover herself, she is aided by the handsome Indian immigrant Prakash.
