Rama Dama plot
While her husband is fighting on the Eastern Front, Kati is raising their daughter Marie in Munich. However, after their home is destroyed by a bomb attack, she moves into the country and gives birth to a second daughter towards the end of the war. After that, a time begins when Kati waits for her husband and earns a living as a tram conductor and debris clearer. One day at the station she meets a man who says he knew her husband and who is clearly interested in her.
