Based on a true story. An Air France plane is hijacked on its way from France to Israel by the PLO. The plane, with about 100 Jewish passengers on board, eventually lands at Entebbe, the airport of the capital of Uganda. Then the president of Uganda, dictator Idi Amin Dada, will also interfere. The Israelis would not negotiate. Yet they undertake a very daring rescue mission, flying all the way to Uganda with fewer than 500 commandos, and freeing the passengers in one of the most successful military operations ever.
