Raíces plot
Raíces shows four stories (Las Vacas, Nuestra Señora, El Tuerto and La Potranca), based on the work of Francisco Rojas Gonzáles, which show the daily life of the Mexican Indians. El Tuerto is about a young man who is cross-eyed. He is ridiculed by all his friends. His religious mother asks God if he can straighten her son's eyes, with dire consequences.
