Quando la Notte plot
Marina is a fragile and insecure young woman who goes to great lengths to be the perfect mother. Hoping that a change of scenery will improve her baby's sleeping habits, she decides to spend the summer holidays on the edge of the mountains. Marina rents an apartment from Manfred, a gruff mountain guide who usually distrusts women. A shocking event forces them to approach each other. The attraction between the two grows, but both hide their feelings for each other. Fifteen years later, Marina returns to the mountains to look for Manfred.
