Quai des Illusions plot

Bored with her parents, Lise (Lise Bourdin) looks for a job as a waitress. She meets the sailor Fausto (Fausto Tozzi) and becomes pregnant. However, he has to flee from the police. When the baby is born, it dies soon after birth. Lise is so upset that she steals an orphaned child.
