Qi Dai plot

Alus can't stand the fact that his mother, who has Alzheimer's, spends all day in an apartment. He decides to take her back to the Mongolian steppe, where she comes from. As her condition worsens, Alus tries to keep her from getting lost by tying her to herself with a rope. In the meantime, he learns all about the traditional Mongolian approach to life and death.
