Princesas Rojas plot

Eleven-year-old Claudia and her little sister live in rowdy Nicaragua in the 1980s. The parents of the two sisters are activists and flee to neighboring Costa Rica with the children. One day, the mother who is said to be in Miami disappears. The young children try to find out exactly what happened and thus gain a better understanding of how their parents try to find the balance between the political struggle and family life.
