Pra Frente, Brasil plot
The film is set during the period of military dictatorship in Brazil, in which many people disappeared. Jofre exchanges a plane ticket, so he doesn't take the same plane as his wife and brother. After the flight, he shares a taxi with Sarmento, an accidental fellow passenger. A car comes alongside, Sarmento and the taxi driver are murdered and Jofre is kidnapped, interrogated and tortured. His wife and brother, whose girlfriend is in the resistance, are told by the police that Jofre is suspected of the murder. They go in search of Jofre and thus end up in the resistance.
