Pour Vivre Ici plot
Monique just lost her husband. Helpless, she leaves her home in Baie-Comeau to visit her son and daughter who live in Montreal, but receives no warm welcome. Only Sylvie, the love of her youngest son who died fifteen years ago, welcomes her with care. Monique decides to travel to the small town of Northeastern Ontario, where she was born. But nothing is left of her childhood. On the way back, she regains her sense of life and returns home to the north coast, thinking close to the man she loves.
