After ten years of war, plague and famine, the local population has been severely depleted. The few remaining souls are scattered, in misery and without hope. An eerie silence hangs over the land. On a particularly clear night, two farmers find an unconscious stranger on the shore. When he opens his eyes, he doesn't remember who he is or how he got there.
