Polizischt Wäckerli plot

Ruedi (Peter Brogle) is dissatisfied with his education and lives beyond his means. His father, police officer Gottfried Wäckerli (Schaggi Streuli), becomes concerned when 10,000 francs have gone missing from the community treasury. Because the mistrust of his authoritarian father becomes too much for him, he decides to leave the family and travels to Zurich, where he can use his drawing skills. Meanwhile, Wäckerli's daughter Marti (Eva Haefeli) falls head over heels for Hans Bader (Joseph Scheidegger). He is the milkman's sidekick and is suspected of having stolen 50 francs from his boss' cash register.
