Podranki plot

A man looks back on his youth as an orphan shortly after the war. His father died during World War II and his mother committed suicide. Most of the film follows the boy as he struggles for survival in the streets and his stay in a strict boys' boarding house. Separated from his twin brother, the growing boy tries to learn more about his family, which was torn apart after the war.
