Pesn Pesney plot

In 1905, ten-year-old Buzya and Shimek live side by side in a Jewish shtetl. They pretend to be prince and princess. Shimek leaves the family home because he doesn't want to follow in his father's footsteps. Years later, he learns that Buzya will be married off and returns to his old home. There he again meets Buzya, who has grown into a beautiful young woman. Only then does he realize that he is still in love with her but that she is going to marry someone else.
