Persona Beach plot
In April 1960, Ingmar Bergman visited the island of Fårö for the first time to look for locations for his next film. Not only did he find what he was looking for, he also discovered the new center of his life. In 1965 he moved to Fårö and his house in Stockholm became a pied-à-terre for when he had to be in the capital for work. When he died, there were four houses on Bergman's estate on Fårö. How is the life of a Sudanese stonemason, a cleaning woman, a middle-aged woman and a little girl - all inhabitants of this small and isolated island in the Baltic Sea - connected to the imaginary residue of the Swedish masterful director Ingmar Bergman, who has more than lived on the same island for 30 years?
