Excellent film where a bank employee's darkest secret is about to come out after a train accident. A special story that is told in a calm way and where the course can be guessed until the end. And since the film is set during the 1950s, it makes things more believable. Cillian Murphy is convincing in an exciting double role. Where the film falls a bit short is the execution, it could have been a bit longer.

A lot of people who don't understand anything about this movie, strangely enough. And especially the ending.
It's not that vague that John wants to protect his son from Emma (because he's afraid she's starting to look more and more like his mother), while Emma thinks she has the right intentions for the son, but be careful last moment - when she drops the camera - realizes she's about to set Jake on the same path as his father.

What did you expect? Knife stabs through the shower curtain? Explosions?

Great film with a world role by Cillian Murphy, who should have received tons of awards for this.

Strange that this film doesn't score higher on average. A great film with a fantastic acting Cillian Murphy, who plays both Emma and John and so lifelike, my girlfriend at first thought that Emma was a real woman who was played by a woman! And I think it's really impossible for Emma to make agreements that John doesn't want to keep. So it is a hard life to have to live with a split personality.

And then the train disaster, certainly not something John and Emma were waiting for.

An intense subject that has been filmed in a very stylish way. As said, a beautiful film for the enthusiast. A spacious 7!
