Pavane for an Infant plot

Lai Sum works for an adoption clinic in Malaysia where mothers can anonymously surrender their unwanted babies via a baby hatch. One day, her path crosses that of Siew Man, a pregnant student considering an abortion. Together, they fight against sexual violence and for the safety of women in Malaysian society.
