Pasácek z Doliny plot

In 1947, a somewhat retarded shepherd boy lives in the Beskydy Mountains who let the cows of the village graze in the mountain meadows. His grandfather always tells him colorful stories about mysterious creatures and elves. As a result, the boy lives in a fantasy world, even if the prevailing reality is far from an idyll. Problems arise when he encounters a group of fleeing 'banderovci' (Ukrainian Nazis) and considers them to be fairy creatures.
