Paren iz Nashego Goroda plot
Film tells about the young and somewhat arrogant Russian tank commander Lukonin (Nikolai Kryuchkov). Although he is a great boaster, he proves his prowess during the Spanish Civil War and during the Nazi invasion of his homeland. Meanwhile, he falls in love with the beautiful opera singer Varya (Lidiya Smirnova).
