Out of My Mind plot
Melody Brooks is a sixth-grader with cerebral palsy. She is quick-witted and quick-witted, but because she is nonverbal and uses a wheelchair, she doesn’t have the same opportunities as her classmates. When a young teacher discovers her untapped potential and Melody is transferred to a regular school, Melody shows that what she has to say is more important than how she says it.

Nice movie about a teenage girl with cerebral palsy who wants to go to a normal school. Despite the main character not being able to talk, the movie succeeds in showing what is going on in her mind (and not just because of the pleasant voice-over of Jennifer Aniston). Just short of 3.5 stars because the movie goes on a bit too long and is sometimes a bit on the tame side.
