When Julie Longwell (Ann Jillian) was 15 years old, as a wealthy upper-class girl, she fell in love with a boy from a lower social class. When Julie became pregnant with the boy, her mother intervened and gave the baby up for adoption. Now, 25 years later, Julie is on the brink of her third marriage and still has a hard time losing her first and perhaps only true love and the loss of her child.
