Où Vas-Tu Moshé? plot
"Où Vas-Tu Moshe?" is the story of the exodus of Moroccan Jews around the end of the 1960s. After Morocco's declaration of independence, many Moroccan Jews left the country and moved to Israel. Some Jews from the small town of Bejjad secretly organized to prepare for this departure. A sense of dread overcame the inhabitants of this town as the rumor of the much-needed departure began to spread. Could Mustapha, the manager of the only bar in Bejjad, continue his activities without the presence of the Jews? And would all Jews be able and willing to leave this place, where their history lies, just like that? Moshé hesitates, hesitates and doesn't know what to decide anymore. And will Israel just accept anyone, even the village idiots?
