Où Êtes-Vous Donc? plot

Georges, a man in his thirties, leaves his home on Quebec's North Shore to start a new life in Montreal. Along the snowy road he meets Christian, a trucker in his twenties, and the two become friends. Christian decides to accompany Georges to the big city. Once in Montreal, they take on all kinds of odd jobs to make ends meet. They participate in various social events. They meet Mouffe, a young woman who is about to commit suicide because her husband has abandoned her. The trio discover that they all have something in common: they want to build a career in the music world.
