Orhim le-Rega plot
Libby is thirteen. She comes to Israel to live with her father Shaul, although she hardly knows him and doesn't know what to think of him. Shaul is a charming villain who gets almost everything he wants with lies. He's permanently broke - despite a series of curious inventions - and doesn't even have a house. Apparently this is not a problem because there is a war going on and so he is everywhere pretending to be a single father from a village who was hit by a missile. He manages to convince a kind-hearted family to give him and his daughter a place to sleep. But how is Libby coping with this for her new lifestyle? She is now of the age to find her own place in life and is not willing to do everything she is told. And so it's only a matter of time before she pulls the strings herself and pierces Shaul's web of transparent lies.
