Early 90s. Dana is a recently divorced young woman who embarks on an acting career. She runs into Jack, a young and charming fellow actor who has a listless relationship with his girlfriend and spends his days emotionless as a writer for the local newspaper. In the past, Dana and Jack had a brief romance, but now they're sticking to a close friendship. When Dana gets the chance to fulfill her dream, Jack is forced to choose between the real love of his life and his "safe" relationship.
