"The REAL story of how it all happened--the SLAVES, the MASTERS, the LOVERS!"

When Uncle Tom and his fellow slaves have to be sold, they face an uncertain future. On the steamboat to Louisiana, Uncle Tom befriends the seriously ill Eva Saint Claire and he is bought by her father, a wealthy plantation owner who cares about slaves.
