On Valentine's Day plot

On Valentine's Day, Elizabeth Vaughn (Hallie Foote) and Horace Robedeaux (William Converse-Roberts) run away. Stubborn as he is, Horace does not ask for financial support from his parents and in-laws, forcing the two to live in a cheap boarding house. Their co-tenants are a bunch of eccentrics: the alcoholic Bobby Pate, the spinster Miss Ruth, the heartbroken George Tyler and the garrulous Bessie. After several months of experiencing the madness of his fellow tenants, Horace decides to accept financial support after all.
