A 15-year-old boy is looking forward to spending the holidays with his mother, but she has been admitted to a psychiatric clinic and his father admits she has had problems for years. After the holidays he goes back to school, but his mother suddenly shows up and takes him for a night in a hotel. Her explanation has consequences for all his actions.
