"A very rare modern day live TV drama with two legends."
Ethel (Julie Andrews) and Norman Thayer (Christopher PLummer), are an old couple who live in "Golden Pond". Their daughter Chelsea (Glenne Headly) is 42 years old, and has never married. She dates a 45-year-old dentist, then takes him to her parents in Golden Pond. This Bill has a son of 14, who will also come along. When Chelsea and Bill go on a tour of Europe, the child stays with the Thayers. In this way they find out the problem childhood of the child, which was caused by the divorce of the parents. Remake of the Oscar-winning original from 1981.
