Ôkoku plot

Goku is a young poet who is out of step with his surroundings and in time. He frantically tries to hold on to old customs and pastimes that have long since left this busy world like hula hooping. In his wanderings, he meets like-minded people such as Pick-Eye Heiji, the ringleader of a pack of pickpockets and a professor of ornithology, who investigates why birds have the ability to track the seasons without using a clock. He hopes to be able to free humanity from the bonds of time. He also introduces Goku to a secret society: the Kronos Convention.
