Okan no Yomeiri plot
Yoko had a daughter at a young age and is now a single mother of the now grown-up Tsukiko. The two have a good relationship and treat each other as friends rather than mother and daughter. Until one day Yoko comes home drunk with a blond, much younger man and announces that he is going to marry him. Feeling confused and betrayed, Tsukiko tries to figure out why her mother is suddenly taking this drastic step.
