Attorney Dr. Kessler is tragic, but he has no choice. The once brilliant orator is banned from speaking in court. The 'poison' puts a heavy brake on his speeches, because he has become a slave to the drug. Only when this addict falls in love does he have hope again. He undergoes a drug addiction treatment under the eye of his beloved Gina and this brings healing after a short time. But the struggle against a possible relapse is a daily torment.
