"If the world were to end tomorrow, how would you live today?"

George is a lonely librarian who collects everything he thinks is "obsolete" in his own encyclopedia, called Obselidia. In his search for people, technologies and ideas that are dying out, he comes across Sophie, a lively movie projector who takes him on a trip to Death Valley.
