O Profeta plot
Helder has lost his faith in God, which is troubling enough for a believer, but a disaster for a clergyman. He is gentle and beloved by his parish in Manjacaze, a small town in southern Mozambique. While he wonders where his faith has gone and how he can find it again, his search leads him into an unexpected world: that of traditional witchcraft. For a while, the powers he invokes seem to work, until suddenly they no longer do.
