O Abismo Prateado plot

Violeta is a forty year old married woman with a teenage son. A dentist by trade, she is ready for another dull day at the practice and a similar evening spent in her apartment in Copacabana. Then she gets a call that her husband has left her. In shock, Violeta tries to look for him, but she misses the last plane. Violeta doesn't want to go to her apartment and checks in at a cheap motel. From there, she continues to wander through Rio de Janeiro all night.
