Now, Hear Me Good plot

Booker is far from home, surrounded by his friends and mentors as he hosts a lavish party. But as the festivities die down and the last guests head home, he feels listless. It’s not until the next morning, when he plays his trumpet, that he finds his place in the stillness of the soft, early light.
