Not at Home plot

A family in Kabul, consisting of two parents and four daughters, has just moved into a new home. The father curses his offspring daily, because his daughters do not behave according to the old religious traditions. Meanwhile, a young Afghan girl tries to find her place in a refugee shelter in Germany. She is followed through her daily, aimless routine, developing a wordless rapport with a fellow refugee.
