"FOR ROUGH-AND-READY ROMANCE RIDE WITH THE NORTHWEST RANGERS"
An Indian attack leaves Frank 'Blackie' Marshall and James Kevin 'Jim' Gardiner orphaned, who are then raised by a Mountie (Canadian police officer). The boys differ like night and day: Blackie wants to be a Mountie too, Jim wants to be a gambler. After a gambling loss, Jim vows to take revenge on the owner of the local casino someday. Years pass until Jim returns to town with his friend Blackie, now a Mountie. Jim returns to the casino to play roulette and kills two fellow gamblers. The Mountie Blackie will have to arrest his gambling friend Jim and a gunfight between the two seems inevitable.
