Noc Nevesty plot

Autumn 1950, Czechoslovakia, the collectivization of agriculture is well underway. However, there is a lot of resistance and some farmers prefer to shoot their cows themselves if they have to give them to the state. When landowner Konvalinka commits suicide, his daughter and former nun returns to her native village. She calls for a forbidden Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve.
