No Marriage Ties plot
Journalist Bruce Foster is fired after being found drunk in a bar instead of beating the biggest boxing match of the year. After determining that no one in town wants to hire him, Foster returns to the bar where he meets "Perk" Perkins, the owner of an advertising agency. Sales pitches are no problem for the unscrupulous Foster, so the company is growing rapidly. The company name is even changed to 'Perkins and Foster'. When Foster decides to take over Adrienne Deane Cosmetics and win the heart of its owner Adrienne, her loyal friend Peggy Wilson becomes angry.
