"Everybody thinks they know Kashmir"
Noor, an Anglo-Kashmir adolescent, goes in search of her roots. She is joined by Majid, a local Kashmir boy who is charmed more by her exotic beauty than by her obsession to unravel the mysteries of their missing fathers. Against his better judgement, Majid leads Noor to a forbidden area in the India-Pakistan border region, full of dangers and ghosts from the past. They stumble upon a dark secret they shouldn't have seen, and Majid's worst fears come true when they are ambushed by an army patrol.
