Nikdo Se Nebude Smát plot

Prague, early sixties. Klima is an art historian and, as he himself says, a scientifically oriented philosopher. He has rather rigid principles, including that he believes that he cannot and will not help anyone. His girlfriend wants to become a model and travel, but Klima refuses to help her. An artist friend needs a confirmation of his qualities from a critic and Klima does not give it to him. His attitude soon turns against him.
