Night Angel plot

In Prague, Countess Von Martini is confronted by a police raid in her tavern and is subsequently arrested for theft. The city lawyer Rudek Berken is successful in his prosecution of the countess and she is sentenced to two years in prison and her beautiful daughter Yula Martini is sent to a re-education school. Rudek's mother, however, intervenes and ensures that despite her resistance, Yula attends a nursing training school. Rudek visits Yula in the hospital and turns out to be in love with her, but Yula is aware of their different social backgrounds and keeps their distance.
