Nieciekawa Historia plot

A professor of medicine ponders his monotonous existence. He finds no satisfaction in either his scientific work or in teaching bored, career-hungry students. It also doesn't run smoothly in private. The only bright spot for him is his foster daughter Katarzyna, an actress with many friends. He confesses his secondary doubts to her, while she actually needs him as a sounding board for her own frustrations and existential panic.
