Daniel, a young man from the province, comes to Berlin where he happens to meet Clemens. Both fall madly in love with each other. So they decide to have a civil marriage. But already after four months the great happiness ends. Daniel has meanwhile met an older, rich man and moves in with him in his villa. When this man cheats on him, Daniel pulls out of the relationship and goes into hiding in the city's gay scene.
