New Love for Old plot
At a mountain resort, Kenneth Scott falls in love with Marie Beauchamp, an older woman. When she leaves him to open a roadside diner, he leaves the mountains and travels, in the company of an old wandering poet named "Doc" Podden, to a small village in the woods. There he meets Daphne Sawyer, the shopkeeper's daughter, and soon falls in love with her. Daphne is also in love with Louis Bracchi, but Kenneth eventually saves her from his forced attentions. Eventually, Kenneth discovers that his new love is the younger sister of Marie, the woman who abandoned him.
