Navy Wife plot
Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Marine doctor and widower Quentin Harden falls in love with nurse Vicki Blake. Despite knowing that most "naval marriages" end in divorce, Vicki says "yes" to Quentin's marriage proposal. Soon, Vicki begins to suspect that Quentin still hasn't come to terms with the death of his first wife. Despite this, Vicki stays with Quentin because of his disabled daughter Susan.
