Nattliga Toner plot
Baron von Meislingen wants to be a good poet, but he doesn't have the talent for that. He is rich, and when one day the shabby but talented poet Peter Långhår comes to him to rent a flat, the baron offers to buy poems from him, which he later publishes under his own name. After Peter categorically refuses to sell his magnum opus, a play called 'Night Music', to the baron one day, the young poet is found dead in his home.
